Dune Bashing
Dune bashing is the thrilling heart of any desert safari in Dubai. Aboard a powerful, safety-equipped 4x4 Land Cruiser, our trained professional drivers navigate the dramatic red sand dunes with skill and precision — climbing steep ridges, racing across open flats, and sliding sideways down sandy slopes.
The experience lasts around 30 to 45 minutes and takes place during the golden hours of late afternoon. Tyres are deflated before the ride for maximum traction and a smoother, safer experience.
⚠️ Not recommended for: Pregnant guests, those with serious back or neck injuries, or recent heart surgery.
Quad Bike Riding in the Desert
A quad bike safari puts you in full command of your desert adventure. Mounted on a robust all-terrain quad bike, you will ride freely across the open desert landscape — climbing dunes, carving tracks through the sand.
Our quad bikes are well-maintained and beginner-friendly, with safety helmets, goggles, and full briefing provided before you set off. No prior experience is required — just a spirit of adventure.

Camel Ride & Camel Safari
For thousands of years, the camel was the Arabian desert's most vital companion — the "ship of the desert". Today, a camel ride at Desert Safari VIP connects you to that timeless heritage in the most authentic way possible.
Our standard camel ride gives every guest the chance to experience the distinctive swaying gait of a camel as it walks through the dunes — perfect for photos and a sense of real desert tradition.

Sandboarding the Dunes
Sandboarding is the desert equivalent of snowboarding — and it is every bit as exciting. Stand on a smooth board at the crest of a sand dune and slide down in a rush of sand and laughter.
No experience is needed — our team sets you up with a board and shows you the technique. You can slide sitting or standing, at your own pace.
